My Story

My name is James, I was introduced to diving in Ireland over 15 years ago, and it has changed my own life journey forever. I was amazed at the vast and colourful diversity of marine life waiting to be discovered, and have spent the majority of my free time exploring dives sites around the world but the adventure of diving in Ireland has always been my favourite. As a father of two small kids, I love teaching them all about the beauty of the underwater marine world. Scuba diving is not just a fun activity for friends and family, it also offers us a deeper way to share a connection with nature. Discovering Scuba allows me to share my passion of scuba diving and love for the ocean with others.

I believe that people learn better with 1-1 instruction, that is why at Discovering Scuba, we provide exclusive bespoke private instruction on all our PADI courses. If you want to learn a new life skill that you can take with you anywhere in the world, I will work around your schedule to help you achieve this goal.
